Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will own the infrastructure, build and deployment pipelines behind a complex cyber-security system. You will work closely with our architect and development team to make our environments reproducible, observable and reliable — from local development through to secured production environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, from commit to deployment.
Deploying and operating services on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Containerizing applications and maintaining Helm charts.
Automating environment provisioning and managing infrastructure as code.
Building monitoring, logging and alerting (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Maintaining and hardening Linux servers and internal environments.
Supporting the development team with build, deployment and environment issues.

Requirements

1+ years of hands-on DevOps / infrastructure experience.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or OpenShift).
Building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar).
Worked with Klocwork or similar
Scripting and automation in Bash and Python.
Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform or similar).
Comfortable with Git workflows and working closely with developers.

Advantages:

OpenShift specifically, and authoring Helm charts.
Monitoring and logging stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
On-premise, isolated or air-gapped environments.
Operating message queues and databases in production (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, SQL).
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Networking fundamentals and system/security hardening.
Background or interest in cyber security.
