Job Description
We're looking for an RF & Signal Processing Engineer to join our RF and SDR team. You'll work on SDR-based systems, from the RF front end through signal processing and algorithms, to lab integration and field deployment. The work includes cyber-RF, spectrum monitoring, emitter detection and classification.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms for SDR-based systems, including detection, demodulation and classification.
-
Analyze real-world signals and I/Q recordings from lab and field to characterize emitters and drive algorithm development.
-
Take part in RF system design: link budgets, receive-chain requirements, frequency planning and front-end specifications.
-
Integrate SDR software and hardware into complete systems, and support bring-up in the lab and at customer sites.
-
Plan and run verification and acceptance tests, from simulation through lab to field trials.
-
Write engineering documentation (requirements, design, test reports) and present results to customers.
Requirements
-
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
-
2+ years of experience developing DSP or wireless communication systems in Python and/or C++.
-
Strong theoretical background in digital communications and signal processing.
-
Hands-on experience analyzing real-world signals and I/Q recordings.
-
Solid RF fundamentals: receiver chains, noise figure, dynamic range, link budget.
-
Excellent technical writing in Hebrew and English.
-
Eligible for Israeli security clearance; willing to travel, including abroad.
Advantages:
-
Experience with SDR platforms (e.g. USRP/UHD, SoapySDR) and GNU Radio.
-
Experience developing real-time signal processing systems.
-
Experience with ML-based signal classification.
-
Background in spectrum monitoring, SIGINT or EW.
-
Hands-on RF lab work: spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, etc.
-
Test planning and verification.
